I have been going TQ Auto Care for about 7-8 years now for my vehicle maintenance and repairs ( recommended by a colleague) and have always found them very professional and pleasant to deal with. Their University Avenue location is sometimes too busy however King Street location is very convenient to get to, always ample parking as they have a bigger parking lot and their manager Tony Lazo always ensures a smooth experience at a very reasonable cost. They have a spacious and clean waiting area that's generally missing in many auto service shops.

I brought my car into TQ to check why engine Iight. They spent quite a bit of time and effort to do proper diagnostics and tests. They were very communicative, extremely nice and went above and beyond to ensure I left confident knowing that my car was good to go. They also did an oil change and I was surprised how low the cost was! Lower than my own mechanic or other places I have gone to. I want to thank the wonderful gentleman who helped me through this process at the front welcoming area and the amazing mechanic who went the extra mile on my car. I highly recommend the King St North location specifically!

Absolutely amazing experience. I was in the area for the weekend and my ac was not working. I gave them a call, no apportionment needed, drove in 10 minutes later, and Tony and his team got started on the inspection and repair right away. They walked me through the entire process and kept me update at all times. Great mechanics, great customer service, great repairs. I would absolutely recommend this place and I really wished that they have more locations open in other cities.

It was just the latch and that’s what they replaced said the cable was in great shape.. any other place would have just replaced it all and charged me more. Awesome job guys keep it up!!

My front bearing started grinding on the weekend before I was scheduled to leave Tuesday lunchtime for a road trip. My regular mechanic was booked solid, but suggested TQ. I don't live in KW anymore, but I was visiting and had a few hours to kill. I was having an issue with my hood latch so I popped in. The brought my car in right away and had me fixed in no time. I brought my 2007 Honda CR-V to TQ Auto Care on King St for an oil change and fluid service, and the experience was exceptional. Tony is a true professional—kind, honest, and incredibly proactive. He actually gave me expert advice on things I was already worrying about but hadn't mentioned yet, like winter tire replacement and the requirements for moving a vehicle across the border. To top it off, Tony applied an in-store discount I didn't even know existed and gave me coupons for my next visit. The technician was incredibly thorough and did a "super job" looking over my older vehicle. It is hard to find this level of integrity and care in the industry. Highly recommended!

Came in today to get my car serviced and was greeted by Tony. He was well-informed and did an excellent job answering all of my questions, ensuring that everything I purchased was compatible with the vehicles I needed them for. He also brought to my attention that some factory-recommended servicing was due soon, which funnily enough, is something the Infiniti dealership has failed to do in the past... it was strictly informative, no upselling or pressuring to get anything done immediately -- I appreciate that kind of service. In general, all of my TQ Auto Care experiences have been great, all of the staff I've met across multiple locations are very friendly and willing to assist you. I'd recommend going there to anyone in Waterloo region
